Overview

Outpatient Treatment That Fits Around Your Life

Blueview Recovery treats substance use and the mental health conditions that often sit underneath it — anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD — in one plan, with one clinical team, in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

You don’t move in. You attend structured sessions during the day or evening and go home afterward, which means treatment can fit around a job, school pickup, or a family that depends on you.

Who this is for

Why Women’s Recovery Needs Its Own Approach

Addiction doesn’t look the same for everyone. Women often move from first use to dependence faster than men, and they’re more likely to be living with anxiety, depression or trauma alongside substance use. Many also put off treatment because of caregiving, stigma or fear of being judged.

Caregiving pressure

The guilt of stepping away, even for a few hours, keeps many women from calling. Our IOP and outpatient schedules are built to work around it.

Trauma and past abuse

Addressed with care and at the pace you set. You decide what you share and when.

Anxiety and depression

Often what the drinking or pills were quieting. We treat them in the same plan, not as an afterthought.

Relationships

Partners who use, family conflict, and rebuilding trust are part of the work, not a distraction from it.

Self-worth

The pressure to look like you have it all together. Recovery includes learning to put yourself on the list.

Not sure where you fit?

A fifteen-minute confidential assessment can help you figure out next steps. No obligation.

Dual diagnosis

Addiction and Mental Health, Treated Together

Substance use and mental health conditions feed each other. Alcohol takes the edge off anxiety, so the anxiety gets louder without it. A stimulant lifts a low mood, so the crash deepens it. Treating one without the other leaves the cycle in place. Our dual diagnosis approach addresses both in a single, coordinated plan.

Levels of Care

Care steps down as you stabilize. Most women move through two or three of these levels, not all of them.

  1. Detox

If you need to withdraw safely first, we coordinate placement before treatment begins.

  2. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

The highest level of outpatient care: five hours a day, five days a week, and you sleep at home.

  3. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Several hours a few days a week, so you can keep working or caring for family.

  4. Outpatient Program (OP)

Ongoing therapy and support as you build independence in recovery.

Getting started

Starting Treatment

The first conversation is a confidential clinical assessment, not a sales call. Call, or send a message and we’ll call you.

We’ll ask what you’re using, what you’ve already tried, what’s going on with sleep and mood, and what treatment needs to work around — kids, work, a partner. From there we recommend a level of care and a start date. Same-day assessments are often available.

Nothing you tell us is shared with an employer or anyone else without your written consent, except where the law requires.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Our admissions team answers calls 24 hours a day.

Your treatment plan is built around you, including the issues that matter most to you as a woman. Ask our admissions team about current group options when you call.

For many women, yes. Our IOP and outpatient programs are scheduled so you can keep up with work and family, and PHP clients return home each evening.

No. Trauma-informed treatment means disclosure happens at the pace you set. Many women work on mood, sleep and substance use for weeks before addressing anything specific, and progress doesn’t require re-telling.

Treatment is confidential. Your records are protected health information and aren’t shared without your written consent, except where the law requires.

Relapse often means the underlying condition was never treated. If a previous program addressed the drinking or the pills without treating anxiety, depression or trauma, integrated dual diagnosis care is built for exactly that.
