Overview

Outpatient Treatment That Fits Around Your Life

Blueview Recovery treats substance use and the mental health conditions underneath it — stress, depression, anxiety, anger and trauma — in one plan, with one clinical team, in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

You don’t move in. You attend structured sessions during the day or evening and go home afterward, which means treatment fits around a job, a crew that’s counting on you, or a family that depends on you.

Who this is for

Why Men Put Off Getting Help

Men are more likely than women to develop a substance use disorder, and less likely to seek treatment for it. Pressure to be self-reliant, provide for others and not show weakness keeps many men struggling in silence, sometimes for years.

Work and money stress

The pressure to provide is often what the drinking was managing. We work on the stress, not just the substance.

Anger and conflict

Irritability, short fuses and blow-ups at home are common. DBT skills give you tools that actually hold up.

Depression that looks like numbing out

Pulling away, working too much, or drinking to sleep. We treat what’s underneath in the same plan.

Past trauma

From service, high-risk jobs or earlier in life — addressed at the pace you set.

Rebuilding trust

With a partner, kids or an employer. Family involvement is part of treatment, when you’re ready.

Not sure where you fit?

A fifteen-minute confidential assessment can help you figure out next steps. No obligation.

Dual diagnosis

Addiction and Mental Health, Treated Together

Substance use and mental health conditions feed each other. Alcohol dulls stress, so the stress hits harder without it. A stimulant cuts through a low mood, so the crash deepens it. Treating one without the other leaves the cycle in place. Our dual diagnosis approach addresses both in a single, coordinated plan.

Levels of Care

Care steps down as you stabilize. Most men move through two or three of these levels, not all of them.

  1. Detox

If you need to withdraw safely first, we coordinate placement before treatment begins.

  2. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

The highest level of outpatient care: five hours a day, five days a week, and you sleep at home.

  3. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Several hours a few days a week, so you can keep working.

  4. Outpatient Program (OP)

Ongoing therapy and support as you build independence in recovery.

Getting started

Starting Treatment

The first conversation is a confidential clinical assessment, not a sales call. Call, or send a message and we’ll call you.

We’ll ask what you’re using, what you’ve already tried, what’s going on with sleep, mood and stress, and what treatment needs to work around. From there we recommend a level of care and a start date. Same-day assessments are often available.

Nothing you tell us is shared with an employer or anyone else without your written consent, except where the law requires.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Our admissions team answers calls 24 hours a day.

Your treatment plan is built around you, including the issues that matter most to you as a man. Ask our admissions team about current group options when you call.

For most men, yes. Our IOP and outpatient programs are built around work schedules, and PHP clients return home each evening.

Treatment is confidential. Your records are protected health information and aren’t shared without your written consent, except where the law requires.

You don’t need a label to get an assessment. If drinking or using is causing problems at home, at work or with your health, a fifteen-minute conversation can help you figure out next steps.

Relapse often means the underlying condition was never treated. If a previous program addressed the drinking or the pills without treating depression, anxiety or trauma, integrated dual diagnosis care is built for exactly that.
